How do I pay open fines/fees?
Once logged into your UW Tacoma InTouch Receipting (TouchBase) account, you will click the button with your name on it. Then select"View Open Fines/Fees" from the list of links. Click the checkboxes of the fines/fees you'd like to pay, and click the "Pay Selected Fines" button. The fines you have chosen will be added to your shopping cart.

Note:  Citations do not show up as a fine/fee on your account.  Citations are items available for puchase under the UW Tacoma Parking Services category.


How can I change my user name, password, or contact information?
Click the "Your Account" text link at the very top of every page. Change any information and click the "Update Account Information" button.

How can I print fine/fee and purchase ledgers?
Click the "HOME" button. Select your account (by clicking on your name). Select the report you would like to print. This will open a pop-up window listing all fines or all receipts for your account. Click the "Print This Report" text link at the top to print out the fine/fee or receipt ledger.

How can I purchase items?
UW Tacoma students and employees are able to purchase any item available for sale on this site.  However, not all items are available to guest customers.

For UW Tacoma students and employees:  to purchase an item, click the button with your name.  Then select "UW Tacoma Student & Employee Items Only" from the list of links. This will take you to a page displaying all the products available to our UW Tacoma Students and Employees.

For NON UW Tacoma students, to purchase an item, click the button with your name.  Then select "Guest Items at UW Tacoma."  Then click on the "CLICK TO CONTINUE" and then the "UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON - TACOMA" link.  This will take you to the "Categories" list, where you will select the item you are purchasing.

Why was my credit or debit card declined?
If your card has been declined, please ensure that:
- your credit card is either a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card.
   Note: bank cards and check guarantee cards are not accepted.
- your card has an expiration date of the current month or later
- your credit card number has been entered correctly (no dashes or spaces)
- the address associated with the card matches the address you've entered into the form
- the 3-digit security code on the back of your card is entered correctly.

How do I get a refund?

Not all purchases are refundable.  To request a refund, contact the department you made the purchase from. You must provide your original receipt or receipt number, along with the reason you are requesting a refund.   If you do not know which department your order came from, it is listed on the receipt. If the item you purchased charged a convenience fee, the convenience fee is not refundable.
